A Big Thing is happening. Or at this point, has happened.
This summer our cases dropped to zero, and we coasted until they pushed back up to critical levels. We bought an urban cottage in that low interim, a whirlwind of masks, houses, packing and cleaning in a matter of weeks to get in before winter (and the expected influx of community transmission).
This has been the longest I’ve lived anywhere since moving away from my parents house in 2009. I moved into the apartment a few weeks after I met alex, and he moved in a year after that.
While we feel wistful for our balcony garden, we are excited to have earth to dig into next year.
