Wowee it has been a while since my toes have been in this red sand. The ocean embraced me as one of her lost children. A long but light day, then sun going down as the clouds rolled in.
Fires blow across the country, dissolving the horizon, dulling the sun to a warm orange. The ocean is on fire. It hasn’t rained in weeks. It feels like the beginning of the end, sometimes.
